If you could only watch one movie over and over and you could never watch another movie ever again what would it be and why?

I really believe Shawshank Redemption is more than a movie. For most viewers it is the quintessential solution to an intolerable situation.

Getting even with the Warden was so cleverly planned and executed and the ending was so perfect that I still wonder what that boat looked like when it was finished.

I'd like to hear other comments and especially what viewers say about " A few good men".

Shawshank is great but what about Schindlers List or Goodfellas. There are so many, that when ever one of my faves comes on I just sit and watch no matter how many times I've watched it before.

I'd find it really hard to pick just one film but if I really had to then it would be The Great Escape. I never get tired of watching that film !!

Rocky Horror. That movie just never gets old! And I'm hopefully seeing a live showing of it next month with audience participation. I've always wanted to go to a showing it just looks like so much fun!

That's a hard question, but I, too, would choose The Princess Bride. I have seen it more times than I can count and I still never tire of. It has romance, action, adventure, comedy, drama, fantasy and even a bit of animation (if you include the muppet ROUS). Ahh...I might just have to rewatch it again very soon. :)

Try posting your suggestions for new additions HERE (http://www.movieforum.cc/showthread.php?t=28). They are more likely to get noticed. :)

Lord Of The Rings for me (difficult to fit into a day though)

Open Range is another I've watched countless times & The Trueman Show

My Favourite is a toss up between The Matrix & Gladiator or Dances With Wolves.

I have so many different faves but I wouldn't ever not be in the mood for any of the above. (double negative was intended).:)
